What is the Community Justice Portal?
The CJP is a virtual environment where information exchange, networking and e-learning can take place amongst those working in the community and criminal justice system.
Is access to the portal free?
The Portal itself is free - only a simple registration procedure is required. To access e-learning there are a range of payments according to the type of event. Contributing news and press releases is free. Details of how to contribute are shown below.
I keep seeing the login screen when I try to access the information on the portal.
This means that you have not yet successfully logged in. Only registered users who have logged in can see all the information on the site. If you are experiencing difficulties logging into the site, please contact the Community Justice Portal Manager.
How do I register?
Click on the registration button on the login screen and enter your details. You only need to supply a user name, password and email address, though the more information we hold about you, the better able we are to tailor the portal to meet your needs. If you wish, you can also set preferences for the subject areas or types of content you are interested in.
I have forgotten my user name and password.
Click on the forgotten details button on the login screen and enter the email address you used to register. Your login details will be sent to you immediately by email.
How do I use the eBooklets / PDF basket feature
For instructions on how to use the eBooklets feature to instantly transform website content into tailer-made booklets, information sheets or training manuals, read How to create a PDF booklet.
Who manages the Community Justice Portal?
The portal is managed by the Hallam Centre for Community Justice, based in Sheffield Hallam University's Faculty of Development and Society.
I would like to talk to someone about using and contributing to the portal. How can you be contacted?
You can email contributions or questions to CJP Contributions, or you can contact the Community Justice Portal Manager on 0114 225 2975.
