The conference will cover the important aspects of resettling back into the community with a focus on interventions for those serving sentences less than 4 years in the Scottish Prison System. A significant proportion of the prison population are released without any statutory supervision - herein lies the reason for the conference. This conference will focus on the specific issues and organisations who make up the criminal justice sector in Scotland. As with any of our conferences, this will include a cross sector approach to hands on local services and will focus on a ‘bottom up’ approach with practitioners and successful delivery agencies leading the way, backed up very ably by our colleagues in academia. Our aim is simple, to showcase good practice and innovation from organisations that work successfully with this cohort.

Aims & objectives
This conference will focus on the specific issues and organisations who make up the criminal justice sector in Scotland. As with any of our conferences, this will include a cross sector approach to hands on local services and will focus on a ‘bottom up’ approach with practitioners and successful delivery agencies leading the way, backed up very ably by our colleagues in academia.
Key speakers from various professional backgrounds will deliver presentations explaining the importance of integrated working and the nature of tailored support that is necessary for ex-offenders to remain crime free and reduce recidivism.
Frontline organisations will deliver solution-focused breakout sessions highlighting good practice, using innovative and creative solutions with alternative approaches.
Delegates from all sectors across criminal justice will benefit by coming together to share this significant experience in as we attempt to identify the extent of the issue whilst also focusing on solutions.
Benefits of attending
You will have the opportunity to:

No Offence! is about building partnerships across the Criminal Justice Sector. These partnerships will maximise the benefits of combined expertise, and working in collaboration will produce innovative and effective responses to problems that are tough to tackle individually.
