Tackling the postcode lottery

4 October 2012, 10.00-12.00 followed by a sandwich lunch

Centre for Crime and Justice Studies, 2 Langley Lane, London SW8 1GB

In July the Centre for Crime and Justice Studies launched www.comparefutures.org, an online comparison tool that lets you compare the vast range of life experiences and life chances facing 18-24 year olds across England, based simply on where they live.

Supported by the Nominet Trust, Compare Futures helps to promote a better understanding of the different experiences young people have growing up in England. We hope it will help to shape better, more targeted services for this age group and ignite an ongoing political and policy debate.

At this event we want to talk about what Compare Futures is all about. But more importantly, we want to share ideas about practical solutions to the postcode lottery.

So if you have ideas to share, or just want to find out more, register your place by emailing events@crimeandjustice.org.uk.

There is no charge for this event but donations are always welcome.
