Rehabilitation Revolution? Young Prisoners Experiences of Re-integration and Resettlement

This one-day workshop focuses on the challenges and issues faced by young prisoners (18-30 years old) on release from custody in England. This interdisciplinary event will consider the impact of recent reforms, including the welfare cuts, to young people’s experiences.

 

Confirmed Speakers include: Max Rutherford (T2A Barrow Cadbury Trust), Kimmet Edgar (Prison Reform Trusts), Claire Frodsham (Social Worker),  Dr Paul Jones (Liverpool John Moores University), Briege Nugent (University of Edinburgh), Dr Lindsey Appleyard (University of Birmingham) and Dr Kate Gooch (University of Birmingham)
