Catch22 News: Young People Running and Raising Money

A big thank you to all those brilliant people who ran the British 10K for Catch22 on Sunday. We had some wonderful supporters pounding the streets of London for us including lots of Catch22 staff and young people – a great achievement!

'The 10k was a great event to take part in for Catch22. The team of young people and staff from the Isle of Sheppey worked hard to train for the run, with a little help from Will Young who held a training session to help them prepare for the day. It was a great day, lots of fun, and I was very proud to see so many finish in such fast times, a truly great achievement. As well as training and taking part in the run, many of the young people raised money through sponsorship, and some of this will go towards supporting residential activities on their own Isle of Sheppey, a great example of giving something back to Catch22 and the community they live in.'
Mick McCarthy, Catch22 Area Manager and 10K runner.
