Positive Futures launches its Star of the Month

Catch22 Positive Futures launches Star of the Month to showcase an outstanding piece of work or achievement from a Positive Futures project, young person or volunteer involved with the programme.

This month Sally Knox, volunteer life coach for Dartford and Gravesham Positive Futures has been chosen. The nomination for Sally really stood out to the judging panel. They were bowled over by Sally’s commitment and the impact of her work on the project, young people and the community since the fatal stabbing of her son in 2008. Watch a film and read an extract from Sally's blog.

This month's runner up is volunteer Chris Thompson from South Tyneside Positive Futures. Read about Chris' achievements, helping to break down territorial barriers and increase young people's aspirations.

Positive Futures is Britain’s largest national youth crime prevention programme, delivered locally by 91 projects in deprived communities across England and Wales. Each month the 91 Positive Futures projects can nominate a person, young person or programme of work to be showcased.
